How to fix broken Thumbnails

If you see broken image icon (white box with a red ‘x’) on Imageshack - My Images page, right click on the image and select View image. If your image appears, then the problem is only with you thumbnail and you can easily fix it.

This problem happens when somebody tries to access public image when the server is off line. To fix this for any given image since it may happen to any image in the future, please follow the following steps.

1. Login to your account.
2. Locate images that appear broken on the thumbnails page and click on the ‘i’ button located at the top of the functions menu on the right of the image.
3. On the Pop-up window, there still will be no image displayed, however click on the arrows right under where the image should be (Top left corner), to rotate it.
4. Now you should see the rotated image. (If you do not see the image still, simply close the window and refresh My Images page)
5. Rotate the image back to its desired position and close the pop-up window. (Click ‘x’ button)
6. Refresh My Images page.

The thumbnail for that image was re-generated and you should be able to see your it.
